From early on, I knew I was the creative one in the family. I was always coming up with crazy ideas, acting in plays, learning different musical instruments and simply enjoying art. As college approached, it was time to choose a career path. On a whim, I chose creative advertising and luckily fell in love with graphic design. I am a rising senior at the University of Miami, majoring in creative advertising and minoring in marketing with cognates in hand built objects and nutrition. There is nothing more rewarding than finding that one idea you soon then turn into a 360 advertising campaign. I have a solid foundation in Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator. Besides graphic design, I am learning the art of photography and have used shots in a few of my ads as shown here. Creating social media posts and material is another interesting way to use graphic design, as I did with TaylorMDformulations. I am constantly working in teams and believe others' opinions contribute to get the best idea possible including your own. Being a graphic design intern for Imusa USA and currently interning for the Jillian Michaels brand have elevated my photoshop and illustrator skills to an advanced level. I participated in an annual event at the University of Miami called Philadthropy. You are assigned an organization on the spot and given 24 hours to create a full on campaign with a team of eight. Experiences such as this, have taught me a great deal about time management and thriving on little to no sleep. Having the privilege to travel the world, from China to Brazil to Africa, has given me an understanding of different cultures and perspectives. Since I enjoy my field of study, I bring a positive and hard-working attitude to the workplace and am up for any challenge presented.
